Reason
What

There is no contradiction between our Catholic faith and our human reason. The same God who created the universe also gave us our ability to think and analyze, and he intends for us to use this gift of reason to contemplate his glory and the mysteries of his creation.

Why

Our ability to comprehend all realities inspires us to love and serve God in all things. The more we use our human reason, the more we are moved to worship and adore our loving God. In our Catholic Tradition, we have used philosophy and theology to show how reasonable it is that we believe in and serve a merciful God.

How

In examining the different "proofs" for God's existence, we are invited to perceive the rationality of belief in God. We refer to great philosophers in our Catholic Tradition, like St. Thomas Aquinas, Augustine, and the disciples to help us see how our human reason strengthens and confirms what we know through faith.
